HCLTech Adds Three Network Automation rApps to Ericsson’s rApp Directory

HCL Technologies Ltd, a leading global technology company, announced the inclusion of three network automation RAN applications (rApp) in the rApp Directory by Ericsson. The additions expand HCLTech’s contribution to open, standards-based RAN automation and empower global communication service providers to accelerate network automation with seamless discoverable solutions. The rApps include Traffic Balancer, Energy Optimizer, and Network Slice Optimizer, aiming to minimize congestion, improve energy efficiency, and allocate physical resource blocks to support multiple 5G network slices with distinct service-level requirements.
