HCLTech Celebrates 50 Years with 50,000 Saplings Planted

HCLFoundation, the CSR arm of HCLTech, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the HCL Group by planting 50,000 native saplings and organizing clean-up drives at 50 beaches across India. These environmental initiatives, involving employees, families, and community members across 10 states, are part of HCLFoundation's broader sustainability efforts. The foundation has previously greened 74,000 acres, harvested over 155 billion liters of water, planted 181,000 coastal saplings, and collected 120,800 kg of marine debris. HCLFoundation aims to impact national and international development goals through programs in education, sports, health, livelihood, and environment, having positively impacted over 8.5 million lives to date. HCLTech is a global technology company with over 223,000 employees and revenues of $14.8 billion for the 12 months ending June 2026.
