HD Fire Protect Ltd has received an order from the Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Jalgaon, dropping proceedings initiated by a show cause notice for FY 2022-23. The order, dated November 6, 2026, accepts the company's reply and confirms that the alleged excess availment of input tax credit was correctly utilized. Consequently, the demand of ₹7,10,16,525, which comprised tax, interest, and penalty, has been dropped in its entirety. The company has stated that this development has no financial or operational impact.
