HEG Ltd Renamed HEG Advanced Materials Limited Post Scheme of Arrangement

HEG Limited has officially changed its name to HEG Advanced Materials Limited, effective September 2, 2026. This rebranding follows a composite scheme of arrangement sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). The scheme involves the demerger of HEG's graphite electrodes business into a new entity, HEG Graphite Limited, and the amalgamation of Bhilwara Energy Limited into the existing HEG entity, now HEG Advanced Materials Limited. The existing listed company will focus on advanced materials, battery energy solutions, and green power, while the demerged entity will be a pure-play graphite electrodes company. Shareholders will receive shares in the new graphite company on a 1:1 basis, and Bhilwara Energy shareholders will receive shares in HEG Advanced Materials Limited.
