
HeidelbergCement India Ltd Declared 'Preferred Bidder' for Two Mining Leases in Madhya Pradesh
HeidelbergCement India Ltd has been declared as the ‘Preferred Bidder’ for two mining leases by the Directorate of Geology and Mining, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The first mining lease is for the Khajuri Deora Limestone Block over an area of 350 hectares in Villages-Khaira, Belaha, Tamara, Padiya in Taluka Huzur, Distt. Rewa and Villages-Kishoura Paipkhara, Padiya in Taluka Rampur Baghelan, Distt Satna, Madhya Pradesh. The estimated reserve of this block is 61.77 million tonnes of cement-graded limestone. The second mining lease is for the Kuria-Sivpur Limestone Block over an area of 350 hectares in Villages: Chhinda, Barha, Bachwai, Bamhaur, Khamhariya Khurd, Harduwa Majhol in Taluka Nagod, Distt. Satna, Madhya Pradesh. The estimated reserve of this block is 105.35 million tonnes of cement-graded limestone. Both the leases have been granted on 22nd and 23rd January 2026 respectively.
