Heritage Foods Ltd. Wins Favorable Order for GST Refund of Rs. 50.26 Lakhs

Heritage Foods Ltd. has received a favorable order from the Additional Commissioner, Central Tax (Appeals), Mysuru, Karnataka, setting aside the impugned order passed by the Assistant Commissioner, CGST, Division-6, Bengaluru West. The order allows the Company to get a refund of GST paid under protest, amounting to a total of Rs. 50.26 Lakhs (IGST: Rs. 0.80 Lakhs, CGST: Rs. 24.73 Lakhs, SGST: Rs. 24.73 Lakhs) for the period from July 1, 2017 to March 31, 2021. The Company is currently in the process of filing the refund application.
