
HFCL Ltd to Invest INR 175 Crore in Defence Business Expansion
HFCL Limited has undertaken a strategic initiative to expand and strengthen its Defence business, in line with its long-term growth strategy. The company, along with other investors, will invest INR 175 crore or less into HFCL Advance Systems Private Limited (HASPL), a non-material wholly owned subsidiary. HASPL will act as a platform for consolidation of several businesses, including the acquisition of Spiral, Raddef, and Thermal Weapon Sight (TWS) business of HFCL. The consolidated platform will include aeronautics and aerostructure manufacturing, radar and surveillance systems, and TWS. The proposed transaction is intended to establish a focused and scalable platform to strengthen HFCL’s existing Defence business and to augment its presence in the Aeronautics and Aerostructure segment.
