Highness Microelectronics signs MOA for TFT-LCD Module Tech Transfer

Highness Microelectronics Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for Technology Transfer with a Chinese manufacturer for glass-cutting and resizing of TFT-LCD Modules. This agreement, signed on April 13th, 2026, aims to localize the production of customized displays for the transportation segment in India, including Railways, Subways, and Metros. The transfer includes proprietary processes, methods, and know-how. Highness Microelectronics has been granted a limited license to manufacture, integrate, market, sell, and distribute these products primarily in India, Australia, and New Zealand, with potential for wider export. This marks a significant step towards indigenization of display manufacturing in India, positioning Highness as the sole holder of this technology in the country for the specified applications.
