Hikal Starts Personal Care Production at New Panoli Facility

Hikal Limited has commenced commercial production at its new cGMP-compliant, multipurpose manufacturing facility in Panoli, Gujarat, marking its entry into the commercial-scale Personal Care market. The facility will initially focus on second-generation UV filters for the skin care category, leveraging Hikal's expertise in process chemistry and regulatory manufacturing. The company has received positive feedback on initial product samples from global and domestic partners, indicating a strong market pull. This expansion into Personal Care is part of Hikal's strategy to build new, high-value growth platforms alongside its existing Pharmaceutical, Crop Protection, and Animal Health businesses. The company also recently commissioned a new cGMP pilot plant for pharmaceutical process development and received an EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability.
