Each Coach/Wagon has 4 Wagon wheelset, with Hilton Metal Forging Itd planning to manufacture over 3,000 Railway Forged Wagon Wheelset by FY26 and over 12,000 by FY27. The company's total installed capacity is planned to be 20,000 Railway Forged Wagon Wheelset/annum. The Indian Railways aims to increase freight transport movement through its network from 27% to 45% by 2030, with 98% of the Rail Route already electrified and a focus on Mission Raftaar.
