HAL Appoints P B Rangarao as Director (Operations)

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has appointed Shri P B Rangarao as Additional Director, designated as Director (Operations), effective October 28, 2026. This appointment is based on a letter from the Ministry of Defence and is subject to shareholder approval. Shri Rangarao, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, has over three decades of experience at HAL, including key roles in helicopter manufacturing and operations. His appointment concludes the additional charge held by Chairman and Managing Director Shri Kota Ravi. Shri Rangarao is not related to any other director and is not debarred from holding the office of director.
