
Hindustan Copper Ltd Reports 54% Surge in PBT for FY 2024-25
Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Miniratna CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has reported a significant surge in its Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the financial year 2024-25. The PBT has increased by 54% to Rs 633.51 crore from Rs 410.43 crore in the previous year. The company has also recorded its highest ever Revenue from Operation of Rs 2070.97 crore, reflecting a robust year-on-year increase by 21%. The Malanjkhand Copper Project, the flagship Unit of the Company in Madhya Pradesh, has produced 2.73 Million Tonne of Copper ore from the underground mine, which is the highest ever since its inception. The EBITDA margin has also increased to 38% from 34% in the previous year. The surge in Copper demand, driven by the evolution towards renewable energy and electric vehicles, is expected to drive growth for the company.
