Hindustan Tin Works Ltd has received an order from the Excise & Taxation Officer-cum-Assessing Authority, Sonipat, under the Haryana Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act, 2008, for the assessment year 2017-18. The order includes a tax assessment of ₹27,86,188 and an interest levy of ₹27,86,188, totaling ₹55,72,376. The company received this order on June 23, 2026. Hindustan Tin Works plans to challenge the order before the relevant Appellate Authority. The company believes there will be no material impact on its operations or other activities.
