Hindustan Zinc Ltd. has been declared as the 'Preferred Bidder' for the Balepalyam Tungsten and Associated Mineral Block in Andhra Pradesh and the Nayakkarpatti Tungsten Block in Tamil Nadu. The declaration came via a notification dated November 07, 2024, hosted on the mstcecommerce auction portal. The Balepalyam block is at G3 level of exploration with a total area of 308.3 hectares, and the Nayakkarpatti block is at G4 level with a total area of 2015.51 hectares. The grant of the Composite License is subject to making necessary payments, completing other terms and conditions, and obtaining necessary approvals, permissions, clearances, and executing necessary agreements.
