Hindustan Zinc's Chanderiya Smelter is India's 1st Zinc Mark Site

Hindustan Zinc's Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter (CLZS) has become India's first site to achieve Zinc Mark validation under The Copper Mark Assurance Process. This recognition follows a comprehensive review validating CLZS's strong performance against rigorous environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria, including emissions, energy efficiency, waste management, worker safety, and human rights. The Zinc Mark is an internationally recognized assurance framework promoting responsible production of critical materials. This achievement reinforces CLZS's credibility as a responsible contributor to the manufacturing ecosystem, aligning with growing global demand for responsibly sourced metals.
