Honasa Consumer Loses Dubai Court Case, Awarded ₹4.4 Cr to RSM

Honasa Consumer Ltd has received a judgment from the Cassation Court, Dubai, UAE, dismissing appeals from both parties in the litigation with RSM General Trading LLC. The Cassation Court upheld the February 11, 2026 judgment, which awarded AED 1,707,407.06 (approximately ₹4.43 crore) to RSM for material and moral damages. RSM's claim of AED 45,000,000 was rejected. Despite this, Honasa Consumer expects no financial impact due to a prior Indian Arbitral Tribunal award favoring the company, which injuncted RSM from pursuing Dubai court proceedings and mandated RSM to pay damages. The company also notes that the Dubai Cassation Court judgment may not be conclusive under Indian law.
