ICICI Prudential Life gets IRDAI NOC for name change to ICICI Life Insurance

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) for a change in its name. The proposed new name is 'ICICI Life Insurance Limited', or another name approved by the Registrar of Companies, provided it includes the word 'Insurance'. This NOC allows the company to proceed with registering the new name with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The company had previously intimated about this change on May 17, 2026, and July 6, 2026.
