
IDFC First Bank PAT Surges 132.4% YoY to ₹1,075 Cr in Q1 FY27
IDFC FIRST Bank reported its highest ever quarterly Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹1,075 crore for Q1 FY27, a significant 132.4% increase year-on-year from ₹463 crore in Q1 FY26. Total customer business grew 18.6% YoY to ₹6,04,776 crore. Loans and advances increased by 20.6% YoY to ₹3,05,370 crore, with retail, agri, and MSME (RAM) book up 18.2% and wholesale book up 30.4%. Customer deposits rose 16.6% YoY to ₹2,99,405 crore, and CASA deposits grew 24.6% YoY to ₹1,58,492 crore, resulting in a CASA ratio of 50.8%. Asset quality improved with Gross NPA at 1.51% and Net NPA at 0.44%. Net Interest Margin (NIM) improved to 5.96%. The bank also received ₹514.8 crore under the CGFMU scheme and created a contingency provision of ₹515.0 crore.
