India Pesticides Ltd Plans Rs. 65 Crore Project for Herbicides Production

India Pesticides Ltd has announced its plan to establish a new project at Sandila Plant with a capacity of 4000 MT of 26 DEA, a key starting material for herbicides like Pretilachlor and Butachlor. The project, expected to be completed by September 2026, will require an investment of around Rs. 65 crore, which will be sourced from the company's internal accruals. The board has given in-principal approval to this project, which is believed to help in further backward integration for the company's herbicides projects and fulfill the 'Make in India' initiative.
