Indian Overseas Bank Appoints Akshit Choudhary as New CFO

Indian Overseas Bank announced the appointment of Mr. Akshit Choudhary, General Manager, as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the bank, effective November 1, 2026. He will succeed Mr. Madhaw Chandra Jha, Deputy General Manager. Mr. Choudhary is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in banking, financial services, auditing, and treasury operations, having previously worked with Punjab & Sind Bank, PwC SDC, and State Bank of India. His qualifications include B.Com (Hons), CA, CAIIB, and DTIRM. The Board of Directors approved this change during their meeting held on October 27, 2026.
