Rail Neer Bottles' MRP Revised: 41% Decrease in 1000 ml, 33% in 500 ml Bottles

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd has announced a revision in the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of Rail Neer bottles, following the reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) on Packaged Drinking Water (PDW) from 18% to 5%. The revision in MRP will be effective from 22nd September 2025, with the 1000 ml bottle seeing a 41% decrease and the 500 ml bottle experiencing a 33% reduction. This move aims to pass on the benefit of the reduced tax burden to railway passengers.
