IREDA Appoints Jatin Kumar Nayak as Chairman & Managing Director

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) has announced the appointment of Shri Jatin Kumar Nayak as its new Chairman & Managing Director (CMD). The appointment, conveyed by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), is effective from October 30, 2026, and will continue until his superannuation on September 30, 2029, or until further orders. Concurrently, Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty has ceased to hold the additional charge of CMD. Shri Nayak brings over 34 years of experience in the power sector and resource-intensive industries, with expertise in finance, treasury, and lending operations.
