IndianOil Appoints Shri A. Amarnath as Government Nominee Director

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. announced the appointment of Shri A. Amarnath as a Government Nominee Director on its Board, effective June 5, 2026. This appointment is in accordance with SEBI regulations and follows a letter from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MOP&NG). Shri Amarnath, an Indian Foreign Service Officer, brings extensive experience in diplomacy and energy security. He currently serves as an Officer on Special Duty at the Joint Secretary level in MOP&NG, overseeing international cooperation and strategic partnerships. He is not related to any existing Director and is not debarred from holding the office.
