Infosys Appoints Mitrankur Majumdar as Segment Head SURE

Infosys Ltd has appointed Mitrankur Majumdar as Segment Head for Services Utilities Resources and Energy (SURE) and as Senior Management Personnel, effective immediately. This appointment was approved by the Board based on the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Majumdar, an Executive Vice President, brings over 30 years of experience in technology and business leadership, focusing on AI, data, cloud, and emerging technologies to drive transformative outcomes for clients. He will also spearhead AI partnerships and advance the Global Capability Center (GCC) practice. Ashiss Kumar Dash, the current Segment Head for SURE, will transition to external training and transition activities as CEO designate.
