Infosys Foundation and GoSports Foundation Expand Athlete Sponsorship with ‘Gear for Gold’ Initiative

Infosys Foundation and GoSports Foundation have announced the expansion of their strategic collaboration, transforming the 'Girls for Gold' initiative into the broader 'Gear for Gold' program. This expansion supports a wider spectrum of promising talent, including male, female, and para-athletes, and focuses on six sporting disciplines. The program aims to transform high-performance initiatives by upgrading infrastructure, implementing modern sports science practices, and providing access to advanced equipment and technologies. Athletes will also receive comprehensive assistance including scholarships, advanced coaching, support to participate in competitions, and nutrition and injury management guidance. Capability building for athletes, coaches, and staff will be strengthened through conclaves, workshops, certifications, and global exposure. The program will support three new academies, enabling young athletes to achieve international and national medals across various sporting events.
