IRB Infrastructure Wins Arbitration Against NHAI, Entitled to Rs. 273.54 Crore

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. has announced that Kaithal Tollway Limited (KTL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of IRB InvIT Fund, has received a unanimous Arbitral Award dated February 27, 2026. The award is in relation to the arbitration proceedings initiated against the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). KTL has informed that the Company, as the Sponsor and Project Manager, is entitled to a sum of Rs. 273.54 crore, together with interest up to the date of realization, and a Concession Period extension of 136.77 days specifically attributable to construction delays caused by NHAI, in accordance with the applicable transaction documents.
