
IRB InvIT Fund Receives Rs. 375.20 Crore Arbitral Award from NHAI for Kaithal Tollway Limited
IRB InvIT Fund has announced that its Special Purpose Vehicle, Kaithal Tollway Limited, has received an Arbitral Award dated February 27, 2026, in relation to arbitration proceedings initiated against the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The Award allows KTL's monetary claims aggregating to Rs. 375.20 crore, inclusive of interest computed up to the date of the Award. Post-award interest shall continue to accrue on the awarded amount until the date of realisation. The Concession Period has also been extended by 582.77 days. Out of the awarded amount, a sum of Rs. 273.54 crore, together with interest applicable up to the date of realisation, and the Concession Period extension of 136.77 days specifically attributable to construction delays caused by NHAI, shall be passed on to the Sponsor and the Project Manager, IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd.
