ISGEC signs MoU with Nigeria for sugar plant technical support

ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The National Sugar Development Council, Federal Republic of Nigeria, on April 16, 2026. The MoU aims to provide technical support for the development of sugar plants across Nigeria. The scope of the agreement includes conducting feasibility studies, preparing cost estimates, assessing and valuing assets, offering technical solutions, and providing training for both greenfield and brownfield sugar plant projects. This strategic tie-up is international, with no consideration paid or received. The National Sugar Development Council is a key governmental agency focused on developing Nigeria's sugar industry. ISGEC anticipates gaining access to new business opportunities in Nigeria and enhancing its visibility within the sugar industry across the African continent. The company confirmed this is not a related party transaction.
