ITI Limited initiates State Network Operations Center (S-NOC) for BharatNet Phase-III Project in Himachal Pradesh

ITI Limited, a Government of India Undertaking, has commenced the work for the State Network Operations Center (S-NOC) of the BharatNet Phase-III Project at Solan in Himachal Pradesh. The S-NOC will monitor and manage the performance, security, and availability of the project’s network infrastructure. ITI Limited had emerged as L1 for BharatNet Phase-III Project in Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands with a total order value of Rs. 5050 Cr. The project is funded by Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF), Government of India and aims to connect all gram panchayats across the country to the IP-MPLS Ring Network. The S-NOC in Himachal Pradesh will monitor the connectivity of all gram panchayats and will assist in providing connectivity to consumers at the last mile. ITI Limited will lay approximately 20,000 kilometers of optical fiber cable (OFC) in the state for this project.
