ITI Limited Wins Ice-Hockey Rink Project in Kaza, Lahaul & Spiti in Himachal Pradesh Worth Rs. 72.76 Crores
ITI Limited, a Government of India Undertaking, has received a work order for an Ice-Hockey Rink Project in Kaza, Lahaul & Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. The project, worth Rs. 72.76 Crores, includes the construction of an Ice-Hockey Rink along with a 500-kW solar power backup system, CCTV cameras, lighting, and other associated accessories. This project is part of the broader effort to develop world-class sports infrastructure in the Spiti Valley, aiming to boost sports opportunities, promote youth engagement, and develop sports tourism. ITI Limited has already laid around 990 kms of OFC cable across Himachal Pradesh for the Bharatnet Phase-III project and has to build the State Network Operation Center (SNOC). The company is also focused on manufacturing diversified products in defense and railway sectors, solar equipment, NGN products, GPON, LED lighting systems, optical products, and other allied products.
