Jay Shree Tea & Industries Celebrates 80 Years of Excellence

Jay Shree Tea & Industries Ltd, a Birla product, commemorated its 80th year journey with a grand celebration at ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata on 2nd March 2025. The event honoured three generations of leadership and over 20,000 employees, whose contributions have shaped the company’s legacy. The evening featured cultural performances, notably a sand animation narrating the company’s history and live music. Two key partners were recognized: Hindustan Unilever received the Guardians of Sustainability Award, and Twinings India the Champions of Social Impact Award. A signature tea bar showcased Jay Shree Tea’s finest brews. Parallel celebrations were held across estates, such as Towkok Tea Estate’s spirited football match. The milestone event reflected the brand's enduring commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovation in the global tea industry.
