Jayaswal Neco Industries Ltd Signs MoU with Ministry of Steel, GoI for PLI Scheme Participation

Jayaswal Neco Industries Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Steel, Government of India (GoI) on 9th February, 2026, to participate in the PLI Scheme 1.2 for Specialty Steel. The company has signed the MOU for the ‘Alloy Steel including Stainless Steel Rolled-Long Products’ category under the ‘Capacity Augmentation’ option, committing investments of Rs. 45.08 Crores in its existing steel making facilities. The company has also committed to enhancing its annual production in the financial years 2026-27, 2027-28, 2028-29, and 2029-30. The MOU was facilitated by the MOS, GoI, who provided the necessary vision, plan, and execution architecture to boost Specialty Steel manufacturing in the country.
