
JD Cables Ltd Conducts Ground Breaking Ceremony for New Construction Work of Six Laning of NH-2 in Jharkhand
JD Cables Ltd, a leading manufacturer of wires, cables, and conductors, has commenced the construction activities for the balance works of Chauparan Flyover, Barkatha Flyover, ROB and allied Electrical Works for the six-laning of the Bihar-Jharkhand Border (Chordaha to Gorhar Section) of NH-2, covering Km 249.525 to Km 320.810, in the State of Jharkhand, on EPC Mode under NHDP Phase-V. The Ground Breaking Ceremony of the same was held on 05 January, 2025. This will significantly enhance JD Cables manufacturing capabilities, enabling the company to serve utilities, infrastructure developers, EPC companies, and industrial consumers with a broader and more technologically advanced product range. The total contract value is %2,43,99,19,353/- (Rupees Two Hundred Forty-Three Crore Ninety- Nine Lakh Nineteen Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty-Three Only), inclusive of applicable GST @18%, approved Change of Scope (COS), and price escalation. The project is scheduled to be completed within one (1) year from the date of execution of the agreement.
