Jeena Sikho Lifecare Limited Publishes Case Studies on Ayurvedic Management of Chronic Kidney Disease and Other Comorbidities
Jeena Sikho Lifecare Limited has published case studies in 'Ayurvidya Adhyan: Global Journal of Ayurveda, Yoga and Integrative Medicine' focusing on Ayurvedic management of chronic kidney disease (CKD), type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), hypertension, and coronary artery disease (CAD). The case studies highlight the potential of Ayurvedic interventions in managing complex cases of CKD with comorbidities. The patient, a 48-year-old female with stage V CKD, hypertension, T2DM, and CAD, received inpatient Ayurvedic care comprising Panchakarma therapies, Ayurvedic formulations, and a customized diet plan. Over a seven-day treatment period, notable symptomatic relief was observed, and biochemical investigations showed measurable improvements. These findings suggest that Ayurvedic interventions may support renal function, improve clinical symptoms, and enhance patient well-being in complex cases of CKD with comorbidities. However, rigorous clinical trials are necessary to validate these observations and develop standardized protocols for integrative CKD management.
