Bhumit Patel Acquires 0.38% Stake in Jhaveri Credits & Capital via Amalgamation

Bhumit Vinodbhai Patel has acquired 42,166 equity shares, representing 0.38% of the total share capital, in Jhaveri Credits and Capital Limited. This acquisition was made through allotment pursuant to a Scheme of Amalgamation between Jhaveri Credits and Capital Limited and U R Energy (India) Private Limited, approved by the NCLT, Ahmedabad Bench. The transaction falls under Regulation 10(1)(d)(ii) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, exempting the acquirer from making an open offer. The shares were allotted on June 29, 2026, based on a ratio of 253 equity shares of the target company for every 500 equity shares held in the transferor company.
