
Jio Leasing Services Invests Rs. 46 Crore in Reliance International Leasing IFSC Private Limited
Jio Leasing Services Limited (JLSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Jio Financial Services Ltd, has invested Rs. 46 crore in Reliance International Leasing IFSC Private Limited (RILIPL). The investment is made by subscribing to 4,60,00,000, 8.1% Cumulative Optionally Convertible Preference Shares (OCPS) of Rs.10/- each of RILIPL. This investment is to fund the business operations of RILIPL, which is a 50:50 joint venture between JLSL and Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited. The total investment by JLSL in RILIPL till date is Rs. 247.55 crore. The transaction is a related party transaction, made on an arm's length basis. The Company's promoter, promoter group and other group companies do not have any interest in this investment. No governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the investment.
