JK Cement Ltd to Acquire 0.24 MnTPA Cement Grinding Assets and 34 Acres of Land for Rs. 28.79 Crores

JK Cement Ltd announced the outcome of its Board Meeting held on March 27, 2026. The Board approved the entering into an Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire 0.24 MnTPA cement grinding assets of Sri Chakra Cement Limited and 34 acres of land owned by multiple landowners in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. The total consideration for this acquisition is Rs. 28.79 crores. The cement grinding assets have been non-operational since April, 2025. The proposed transaction is subject to finalization and execution of definitive agreements and completion of customary conditions precedents.
