JSW Energy Acquires Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure for Rs. 700.10 Crores

JSW Energy Ltd. has completed the acquisition of Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Private Limited (RCRIPL) after receiving approval from the National Company Law Tribunal under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The acquisition was made for a total Resolution Amount of Rs. 700.10 crores. RCRIPL provides critical railway infrastructure services to JSW Mahanadi Power Company Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Energy. The acquisition ensures full control over RCRIPL, securing uninterrupted railway infrastructure services for power generation at JMPCL.
