JSW Energy Commissions 281 MW Organic RE Capacity and Signs PPA for 250 MW Wind Project

JSW Energy Ltd has successfully commissioned 281 MW of organic renewable energy capacity, taking the current installed capacity to 12,499 MW. The new capacity includes 215 MW of solar and 66 MW of wind energy. The company has also signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited for 250 MW of wind capacity at a tariff of X3.65/KWh for 25 years. The project is expected to be commissioned in the next 24 months. JSW Energy has a total locked-in generation capacity of 29.9 GW and aims to reach 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030. The company is targeting Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
