JSW Energy Subsidiary Signs 700 MW Solar PPA with NTPC Limited

JSW Renew Energy Thirteen Limited, a step-down subsidiary of JSW Energy Ltd, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited for 700 MW of ISTS/STU-connected solar capacity. The PPA is for a period of 25 years with a tariff of ¥2.59/KWh and is expected to be commissioned by Jun-2026. JSW Energy has a total locked-in generation capacity of 18.2 GW and aims to reach 20 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity before 2030, with a vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
