JSW Infrastructure Subsidiary Signs Concession Agreement for Mechanization of North Cargo Berth-III at V.O. Chidambaranar Port

JSW Tuticorin Multipurpose Terminal Private Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Infrastructure Ltd, has entered into a concession agreement with V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tamil Nadu, for the development and mechanization of North Cargo Berth-III (NCB-III) on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The new 7 MPTA Cargo Berth III will allow the company to leverage its operational capabilities in handling bulk products and increase its cargo share on the East Coast. The asset provides access to a rich hinterland with a diverse cargo profile including dry bulk, coal, limestone, gypsum, rock phosphate & copper concentrate.
