JSW Steel: April 2026 Crude Steel Production at 21.18 Lakh Tonnes

JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 21.18 Lakh tonnes for April 2026, a 1% decrease compared to April 2025 (21.40 Lakh tonnes). Indian operations produced 20.40 Lakh tonnes, down 1% YoY, while JSW Steel USA – Ohio produced 0.78 Lakh tonnes, a 7% decrease YoY. The steel business undertaking of Bhushan Power and Steel Limited (BPSL) was transferred to JSW-JFE Steel Limited in March 2026, impacting YoY comparison. Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar is under shutdown for upgradation impacting Crude Steel production at Indian operations level. Production growth, excluding BF3 production from last year’s base, was about 10% driven by full ramp-up of JVML operations.
