CCI Approves 50:50 Joint Venture Between JSW Steel and JFE Steel for Bhushan Power and Steel's Steel Business

JSW Steel Limited and JFE Steel Corporation, Japan have received approval from the Competition Commission of India for their 50:50 joint venture in the steel business of Bhushan Power and Steel Limited. The joint venture, which was approved by the boards of both companies in December 2025, will see the transfer of Bhushan Power and Steel Limited's steel business to JSW Sambalpur Steel Limited.
