JSW Steel Reports 14% YoY Rise in Consolidated Crude Steel Production for Q1 FY26

JSW Steel reported consolidated Crude Steel production for the first quarter of FY 2025-26 at 7.26 million tonnes, marking a 14% YoY increase. However, the production was 5% lower QoQ due to planned maintenance shutdowns of blast furnaces. The blast furnaces have been restarted and are operating at optimum capacity levels. The capacity utilisation at Indian Operations stood at 87% for Q1 FY26. JSW Steel's next phase of growth will take consolidated capacity to 43.4 MTPA over the next three years.
