Juniper Green Energy Signs 50MW PPA with SJVN Limited

Juniper Green Energy Limited, through its subsidiary Juniper Nirjara Energy Private Limited, has executed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited for a 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The project, secured under the SJVN FDRE-2 scheme via Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding, will combine solar and battery energy storage systems. The PPA is set at a tariff of INR 4.25 per unit, with an expected annual revenue of INR 80.00 crore. The project is to be executed within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA, and the PPA term is 25 years from the commercial operations date. This development expands Juniper Green Energy's renewable energy portfolio to 11,216 MWp and BESS capacity to 8,989 MWh.
