Jyoti Ltd. Receives Letter from Customs Authorities: Project Registration Closed, Liabilities Extinguished

Jyoti Ltd. has received a letter from the Customs Authorities under the Customs Act, 1962, regarding a Show Cause Notice issued under section 124 read with section 18 of the Customs Act, 1962 and Project Import Regulations, 1986. The dispute, which was intimated to the Stock Exchange on 15th October, 2025, concerned a project registration under the Project Import Regulations, 1986. The Customs Authorities have informed Jyoti Ltd. that since all required documents have been submitted, the project registration has been closed, and consequently, all liabilities as mentioned in the show cause notice have been extinguished with the closure of the project registration. The letter was received by the Company on 10th March, 2026.
