Kalyani Cast-Tech Gets LOI for Inland Container Depot

Kalyani Cast-Tech Limited has received an approval for the issuance of a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) to set up an Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Shivlakha, Kutch, Gujarat. This ICD will handle import/export cargo and is part of the company's integrated rail, logistics, and manufacturing platform. The platform includes a Gati Shakti Cargo Terminal, container manufacturing, and wagon manufacturing facilities. This strategic move aims to strengthen the company's presence in the EXIM logistics value chain and create a differentiated factory-to-port integrated ecosystem, aligning with government initiatives like PM Gati Shakti. The company targets revenues of ₹4,000–5,000 crore.
