Kanpur Plastipack Appoints Sanjiv Swarup as Additional Independent Director

Kanpur Plastipack Ltd announced the appointment of Mr. Sanjiv Swarup as an Additional Director in the capacity of an Independent Director, effective October 27, 2026. The Board of Directors approved this appointment based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Swarup, aged 68, brings over four decades of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, management consultancy, and business strategy. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an LL.B. degree. He has served on the boards of numerous listed companies and currently holds directorships in several entities. His regularization for a five-year term will be placed before shareholders. Mr. Swarup is not related to any existing directors and is not debarred from holding a director's office.
