
Karur Vysya Bank Expands Presence in Coimbatore, Madurai & Vizag
Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has expanded its reach by opening new branches in Seraiyampalayam Road, Neelambur, Coimbatore; Nedungalam Main Road, Chinthamani, Madurai; and Vadlapudi, Vizag. The Coimbatore and Madurai branches were inaugurated by Smt. R. Vijiyalaxmy B.A.BL., Deputy Commissioner HR & CE, Coimbatore, and Smt. V. Mercy Jeyarani M.Sc (Agri), Deputy Director, Agri Marketing Dept, respectively. The Madurai branch also had an ATM inaugurated by Mr. M. Manikandan M/s. Sri Sastha Appalam & Traders. The new branches will offer a comprehensive range of banking services, including savings and current accounts, and cater to all basic banking transactions and specific needs of customers. KVB has a total of 894 branches across the country and offers internet banking and mobile banking facilities through its app KVB DLite. The bank's total business was Rs. 1,96,024 cr. as on 30.06.2025 with a deposit base of Rs. 1,06,650 cr. and advances at Rs. 89,374 cr. Net profit for Q1FY26 is at Rs. 521crores. Net NPA of the Bank was 0.19%.
