
Kings Infra Welcomes 5th Marine Fisheries Census 2025 to Strengthen India's Seafood Leadership
Kings Infra Ventures Ltd., a leader in sustainable fisheries and seafood exports, welcomes the launch of the 5th Marine Fisheries Census 2025. The census, jointly led by ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Fisheries Survey of India (FSI), and the Department of Fisheries (DoF) under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, with support from the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), is scheduled for November—December 2025. The census aims to empower fishing communities, improve coastal livelihoods, and strengthen environmental sustainability, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of the Blue Economy. The findings from MFC 2025 are expected to shape national strategies for marine resource management and livelihood enhancement.
